Terms & Privacy Notice

Last updated: August 29, 2026

1. The short version

Happy Hour is a free website that shows happy hour deals on a map. To use it you create an account and give us your name, email address and zip code. We may share and sell that information to third parties. If you are not comfortable with that, please do not create an account.

2. What we collect

  • Your name, email address and zip code.
  • Your location, only when you tap “Use my location,” or the place you type in.
  • How you use the site: searches, filters you pick, and venues you tap. This helps us improve the site.
  • Basic technical data such as device type, browser and approximate region.

3. How we use it

  • To show you happy hours near you and let you sign back in.
  • To send you account emails and, if you allow it, deal updates.
  • To measure and improve the site.

4. Sharing and selling your information

We share and may sell the information we collect, including your name, email and zip code, to third parties such as bars, restaurants, advertisers, marketing partners, data partners and analytics providers. We do not sell your account password. Location readings are used to power the map and are shared only in aggregated or de-identified form.

Depending on where you live you may have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, and to ask for a copy of your data or for it to be deleted. Email us at privacy@happyhour.app and we will act within the time the law allows.

5. Using the site

  • You must be old enough to hold an account where you live.
  • Alcohol deals are shown for information only. You must be of legal drinking age to buy alcohol, and venues may check ID.
  • Do not scrape, resell, overload or reverse engineer the site, and do not upload anything unlawful.

6. Deals may be wrong

Happy hour times, prices and rules change often. We gather information from venues and public sources and cannot promise it is accurate or current. Always confirm with the venue. The site is provided “as is,” without warranties, and to the fullest extent the law allows we are not liable for losses arising from your use of it.

7. Cookies and similar tools

We use cookies and similar technology to keep you signed in and to understand how the site is used. You can clear or block cookies in your browser, but parts of the site may stop working.

8. Closing your account

Email privacy@happyhour.app to close your account and delete your profile. Information already shared or sold to a third party stays with that third party under its own policies.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. If the change is significant we will tell you by email or on the site. Continuing to use Happy Hour means you accept the updated terms.
